Principle of operation
Back Rake Vertical Bar Screen. All cleaning operations are carried out at the filtered side of the bar screen. This principle allows the bar screen to successfully deal with large amounts of rubbish and dirt. Cleaning is done easily and smoothly while no foreign dirt elements are stuck in the process with no mechanical damage nor wear to the bar screen itself. A massive vertical rods net is installed at the bottom of the gutter funnel and automatically filters all rubbish and flowing solids out of the operating system.
An automatic sweeping system sweeps down the net and point it to the collection container. The sweeping system is attached to lifting cables which are spooling on drums at the top of bar screen. A massive frame of profiles exceeding 120 mm is used as tracks the move the sweeping system. Bar screen is designed to operate with a minimum number of moving parts.
A programmable controller controls the operation of the facility and allows adjustment of the operations depending on water and dirt flow. Another possibility is operation by level control.
System can be built in a number of construction materials on demand (stainless steel 304/316 and galvanized steel).
