Mode of Operations

The Wastewater flows through the main entrance into the screen and is pouring into slotted cylindrical net which captures the sewage and large objects. A large snail of 200 mm in diameter with a special cleaning brush cleans the grid and leads the sewage to the compression pipe, where 2 actions happens simultaneously: compression and extracting of the wastewater while the liquids and sludge exit through special holes in the pipe and drains through the fluid ports at the bottom of the basin. The squeezed sewage is led out through a 10″ exit hole and from there through another pipe which allows a free sewage movement to the dumpster.

If the snail gear stops due to stones or other foreign bodies’ the operator needs to move the machine selector to “rewind” and press the button. Wait a few seconds and release the pressure from the Snail. Then you can remove the foreign body and return the switch to the auto mode.

User Maintenance

  • Weekly care – General inspection. Wash the Net. Check and wash the brush
  • Monthly treatment – grease back bearing
  • Transmission is filled with a synthetic oil gear. First oil change after 5 years.
  • Synthetic oil Viscosity VG 320
