Screw Compactor

Description and Function

The Screw Compactor significantly compresses and reduces rubbish volume. It washes away the waste, dries it and separates it from the organic material. After this smart cycle a much smaller amount of rubbish is obtained, washed, dried, compressed and disposed. The Waste is removed effortlessly and solves the environmental hazard as there is no sewage smell nor liquefy waste in the disposal container.

Principle of Operation

Our tin Compactor leads the waste into a compression tube where 3 operations are being carried out: waste is being washed, compressed and pressed. Liquids flow out through special holes in the pressing pipe and are being drained through a 3″ diameter at the bottom of the basin.
The compressed Sludge is driven upward through an exit hole of 10″ diameter. At the exit funnel there is a top cover for easy cleaning and blockage removal if necessary.

Mode of Operations

The Compactor starts working automatically with the start of Bar Screen operation. When the Bar Screen completes its upward movement, the sewage falls into the compactor and is being compressed. This process takes 2 minutes to complete the compression operation.If the compactor stops due to stones or entry of other foreign bodies, the operator has to switch the selector to “rewind” and press the “stuffing back” button for a few seconds the release of pressure from the Compactor. Then the foreign body can be removed and the selector can be switched back to “Auto”.
